The Day of Atonement is on Sunday the 27th this year starting the night before. One way to observe this is day is to start a fast at sundown the night before. This day was the only day the high priest would enter the holy of holies to interceed for all of Israel. Much like Christ our high preist interceeds for us (Hebrews 4:14-16).

The Book of Mormon was written for “the convincing of the Jew and Gentile that Jesus is the very Christ, the Eternal God…”

Lets see what the Book of Mormon teaches.

Jewish thinkers before Christ noticed and wrote about two powers in heaven. Does that concept show up in the new testament and Book of Mormon?

In previous episodes (60-62) we saw how the God’s of the nations were given to the people as God disinherited them. Jesus coming and sending his deciples begins to reclaim the nations.

Jesus as Messiah is King and in this possition has authority over this world. Beings form the spiritual realm recognize something that the Jews do not.
