The scriptures teach us that God is unchangeable and eternal but what does that mean?

Alma, Amulek, Aaron, and Ammon all taught about God in the book of Alma and they are very clear about who god is.

Jesus said “God is Spirit” what does that mean?

The being and Spirit of God is not a progression it is from the beginning and that is what the scriptures show.

This Parable can be a huge aid to help us inderstand God because it gives us an idea how we are connected to our God through his Messiah.

Jesus name in Hebrew leterally means God’s Salvation. Our God is a God of salvation

Paul the Apostle said that Christ is “the Image of God” even “The son is the image of the invisible God”. In Episode 68 we looked at how God is unseen but God has made himself known to us and did so through the son.

Both Paul and Christ in the New Testament call God the Father and both say that he cannot be seen. So, Can he be seen?

The Day of Atonement is on Sunday the 27th this year starting the night before. One way to observe this is day is to start a fast at sundown the night before. This day was the only day the high priest would enter the holy of holies to interceed for all of Israel. Much like Christ our high preist interceeds for us (Hebrews 4:14-16).
